bibleDevil’s Bible, a manuscript written in the early 13th century in the Benedictine monastery of Podlazice in Bohemia is on exhibition at the Czech National Library in Prague. This manuscript was regarded as a wonder of the world during the Middle Ages.

The invaluable piece of work, supposedly the biggest medieval book, was taken by the Swedish troops from the Prague Castle in 1648.
Its return to Prague after 359 years has been made possible after years of negotiations between the diplomats of Czech and Swedish. It is on exhibition in Prague from Sept 20 - Jan 6, as on loan from Sweden’s Royal Library in Stockholm.
