Joanne K. Rowling gave a Christmas gift to her fans when she announced the long waited name of her seventh Harry Poter series-‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’, a name likely to fuel fears she will kill off her hero. Revelation of the title put an end to months of internet conjecture, with guesses ranging from ‘Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat’ to ‘Harry Potter and the Graveyard of Memories’.

After the rumors regarding the title of the series, now there is another gossip about the release of the book seven will be released on 07/07/07.

However, Lucy Holden, a spokeswoman for the publisher, Bloomsbury, said that it had not give permission for the book to be pre-ordered, because the manuscript of the book is not received as JK Rowling is still working on it.

The earlier books of Harry Potter series are:

1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (June 26, 1997) (titled Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in the United States)
2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (July 2, 1998)
3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (September 8, 1999)
4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (July 8, 2000)
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (June 21, 2003)
6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (July 16, 2005)
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (still to be published)

In Harry Potter series most enduring themes is that of love, portrayed as a powerful form of magic in and of itself. In contrast to love, Rowling explained death to be another theme.

No doubt, there is a large audience for Harry Potter and the number for this last series is rising, though the book is not yet published. Christopher North, Amazon’s head of books, said:

“Thousands of people across the UK have been going online to reserve their copy. If the initial response is anything to go by, this could be the biggest-selling Harry Potter of all time. The fact this is the final installment seems to have heightened the excitement and buzz around this Harry Potter title. Demand for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows could well surpass that of previous releases and we expect more people to pre-order this time round.”

Lucy Holden said,

“Each book in the series has sold more than the last, so we are excited about the last one. Amazon obviously isn’t our only customer, but it’s very exciting that the book has made it to number one in the bestseller list.’

These words show that fans of Harry Potter Fantasy are eagerly awaiting, what will happen in this last wizard fantasy? Their curiosity can only be settled when they finish reading ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.’

You all must be curious to know about the chronicle of the book. What you say will Harry Potter die in this last series or will he live???

Here, is a conversation with J.K. Rowling before the release of book 5, when she was interviewed by Jeremy Paxman for the BBC, she was asked about Harry’s future:

Jeremy Paxman: So you know what is going to become of all the major characters over the span of the series?
J.K. Rowling: Yeah..yeah.
Jeremy Paxman: Why stop when they grow up? Might be interesting to know what becomes of Harry as an adult.
J.K. Rowling: How do you know he’ll still be alive?
Jeremy Paxman: Oh. At the end of book seven?
J.K. Rowling: It would be one way to kill off the merchandising.
